Trinity will begin Lutheran Catechesis (Adult Confirmation Courses) on September 15, 2015. This is a 12-week course of study which delves into the basics of Christianity and why Lutherans believe what they do. While this course is used primarily as preparation for membership in the Lutheran Church, it is also an excellent course to take as a refresher for current members or as an introduction to Christianity. All are welcome. Lutheran Catechesis will be held on Tuesdays from 7-8:30 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rupert. The first meeting will be on September 15th and the course will continue for 12 weeks. Be sure to visit our website at: http://www.tlcrupert.org
Belief and Practice at Trinity Lutheran Church:
With the universal Christian Church, The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod teaches and responds to the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in the ultimate victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God's Word and Sacraments. The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God.
